Paying with Clipper

Santa Rosa CityBus accepts the following on a Clipper card:

  • Cash value: For single rides. You need a cash value balance of at least $1.50 on an adult Clipper card, $1.20 for Clipper START, or 75 cents on a Senior or RTC Clipper card to board if you are paying with cash value. If you have a Youth card, you do not need a minimum balance.
  • 31-day pass: Unlimited rides for 31 days. Available for adult, Senior and Clipper Access riders.

Ride More, Save More with Maximums

  • fter you spend the daily maximum ($4 for adults, $3.20 for Clipper START, and $2.99 for Clipper Access and Senior), all rides for the rest of the day are free.
  • After you spend the monthly maximum on local rides ($50.00 for Adults, $25.00 for Senior and Clipper Access, and $40.00 for Clipper START), all rides for the rest of the month are free.

Transferring with Clipper

Clipper knows when to give you free and discounted rides when you transfer.

Any transfer to Santa Rosa CityBus from the transit agencies listed below (within two hours of boarding first agency) will result in a free fare.

If you have a Youth, Senior, Clipper Access or Clipper START card, you will receive the proportional discount when transferring to Santa Rosa CityBus. You still need to tap your card when boarding Santa Rosa CityBus in order to receive the transfer discount.
