RTC ClipperCard

Riders under age 65 with qualifying disabilities can apply for a Regional Transportation Connection (RTC) Clipper card. It works like any other Clipper card. Just load it with any combination of cash value and discounted passes. You can also use it as a photo ID when paying with cash.

To apply for an RTC Clipper card, you’ll need to visit a participating transit agency location. Qualified applicants are then mailed an RTC Clipper card. For more information about eligibility, how to apply, how to renew and how attendant cards work, visit 511.org. (opens in new window)

After receiving your card in the mail, you can set up an online account by calling Clipper Customer Service at 877.878.8883 (TDD/TTY 711 or 800.735.2929).

Learn about how to use the RTC Clipper card in the Guide to the RTC Clipper Card. (opens in new window) You can also find answers to commonly-asked questions about the RTC Clipper card in our RTC Card & Accessibility topic.
