Day Passes

A Day Pass gives you unlimited rides on a single day ($3.75 for adults and youth/$1.75 for senior and RTC customers). The Day Pass is a regional pass that is good on most WestCAT, County Connection, Tri Delta Transit and Wheels local and express routes. You get the Day Pass discount automatically. Once you pay $3.75 in fares in a day ($1.75 for senior and RTC customers) on any combination of the participating transit services, your rides will be free of charge for the rest of that day. Free transfers and fares paid on the WestCAT Lynx route do not apply toward a Day Pass.

Transfers

Clipper automatically grants you one free transfer between WestCAT local routes (excluding the local portion of the Lynx route) and Tri Delta Transit, County Connection and Wheels routes. Customers who use cash value will be charged the difference between the transbay and local fare when they transfer from a WestCAT local route to the Lynx service. (Customers with a WestCAT local 31-Day Pass are charged the full Lynx fare.)

Clipper calculates discounted transfers from AC Transit, FAST Route 90, Golden Gate Transit routes 40E and 42E, SolTrans Route 80S and VINE Route 29.

When transferring from BART, Clipper grants one discounted transfer, followed by one additional free transfer to other WestCAT local, County Connection, Tri Delta Transit and Wheels routes.

Transfers are good for 120 minutes after you tag your card on a WestCAT bus or exit a BART station.

If you are transferring to a transit service that does not accept Clipper, you should request a paper transfer.
