Marin Transit accepts cash value on Clipper cards. Adult riders will always get a 10 percent discount over paying with regular cash. Passengers with a Youth, Senior or RTC Clipper card receive the same 50 percent discount they do when paying with cash. For a complete list of fares, visit Marin Transit.

Local riders receive free one-way transfers between all Marin Transit and Golden Gate Transit routes within Marin County.

When transferring between Marin Transit and Golden Gate Transit buses, Clipper deducts the maximum possible fare when tagging on the second bus, but credits the full amount back when you tag off at the end of your ride as long as you complete your ride within 3 hours when traveling within Marin County.

Marin Transit customers transferring to and from SMART receive transfer discounts of $1.50 off adult fares and 75 cents off youth, senior and disabled fares.
